Nile University held its 10th matriculation on January 17, 2018. In the two-part event organized to officially welcome the new 100 level students to the university, a total of 525 students were matriculated. Speaking at the event, the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nurettin Can, urged the matriculants to obey all of the institution’s rules and regulations and take their studies seriously to ensure that their time at Nile University is successful. This, according to him, was the only way in which they could justify their selection “out of the thousands who wanted to come and study in this noble institution.”Other activities at the ceremony included the formal presentation of the students to the VC by their respective Deans of Faculty and the administration of the matriculation oath by the Registrar. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Dean of Student Affairs.
