Nile University of Nigeria (NUN) recently became a stakeholder in Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (MIT REAP). The other members of the MIT REAP team include the National Information Technology Development Agency, TeasyPay, Verdant Agritech, First Icon Mutual Capital, Sigma Pensions, and Petroleum Equalisation Fund (Management) Board.

The MIT REAP is a capstone global initiative designed to help regions accelerate economic growth and job creation through innovation-driven entrepreneurship (IDE). Partner regions form multi-disciplinary teams and commit to a two-year learning engagement with MIT. During this engagement, teams work with the world-renowned MIT faculty and the broader REAP community through a series of action-learning activities to build and implement a custom regional strategy for enhancing their IDE ecosystems.

The Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr.Osman Nuri Aras is a member of the Advisory Board and Prof.Dr.Ibrahim Keles serves as the representative of NUN.
