Nile University signed a MoU with IBM on June 13, 2019. The partnership promises to be highly beneficial to both organizations through the facilitation of expertise sharing and capacity building. The MoU will allow IBM to provide technical training to the University’s staff and students. The students, in particular, will find these courses invaluable as they will provide them with skills that are relevant in the contemporary job market. Other benefits of this partnership include opportunities for collaborative research between both organizations’ staff, internships at IBM for Nile University’s students, etc. Notable individuals present at the event included the IBM representative, Vice Chancellor of Nile University, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics (Nile University), Deputy Vice-Chancellor RICOR (Nile University), Director of Academic Planning (Nile University), Dean of Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (Nile University), and Director of Corporate Relations (Nile University).
